We are excited to announce that the Progression team lead by Friederike Aulenbacher (KSH) and Frieder Pankratz (LMU) will present a workshop at the SESAM 2025 conference, focused on developing innovative Mixed Reality (MR) training applications, using our EU-funded research project PROGRESSION as a case study.
In our SESAM 2025 workshop, participants will learn how to conceptualize and build MR training programs that support both theoretical knowledge and hands-on skill development. Through demonstrations and guided interaction, we’ll explore the advantages and limitations of AR, VR, and their integration in healthcare education.
By the end of the workshop, attendees will:
- Understand the key differences between AR and VR
- Experience how knowledge training compares with hands-on MR training
- Gain basic insights into designing effective MR learning applications
The session is tailored for healthcare educators, midwives, gynecologists, technicians, and anyone passionate about innovation in education. Whether you are looking to implement MR tools in your curriculum or simply want to explore new ways of teaching complex concepts, this workshop will offer both inspiration and practical guidance.
Join us and shape the future of midwifery education through Mixed Reality!
