At the beginning of February, we had our second face-to-face project meeting in Porto.

After several internal testing and evaluation rounds, we invited midwifery students for a pilot test at three of the participating institutions. In total, 12 students were introduced to the VR technology and put our developed scenario through its paces. A supervisor was present to guide them through the various tasks and assist if necessary. Afterwards, the participants assessed the usability and functionality of the app.

Nowadays, in higher education, it is essential for educators to examine and challenge their assumptions about learning. Gaining a deeper understanding of learning processes can drive transformative changes in the classroom, enhance teaching effectiveness, and significantly improve higher education students' outcomes. As education continues to evolve using new research and educational practices, the focus remains on advancing how individuals learn and develop.
